Graduate School Anne and Russ Fuller Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Research/Scholarship at Washington State University 2025

Eligibility Criteria for the Anne and Russ Fuller Fellowship for Interdisciplinary Research/Scholarship:

• It is open to all doctoral graduate students in good standing.
• It is offered to students, who are conducting interdisciplinary research/scholarship.
• Preference is given to nominees with a GPA > 3.5.
• Students must be enrolled either full- or part-time during the fall 2025 semester to be eligible.

Nomination Process:

• Students are nominated by the Dean of their College.
• Students must include two letters of recommendation from advisors.
• A maximum 1,000-word proposal on interdisciplinary research/scholarship.
• A CV that demonstrates the highest levels of excellence in scholarship, and an unofficial transcript.

Selection Process:

Nominations will be evaluated by the Graduate School based upon the following:

• Strength of the letters of recommendation.
• Demonstrated scholarly productivity.
• Research proposals that incorporate scholarship between multiple disciplines and/or represent one component of a multi-discipline research enterprise.
• High achieving academic performance.

Deadline:

• Call: Opens on January 8.
• College nominations due the Graduate School: February 19 (Contact Department or College for internal deadlines).

Value of the Scholarship:

The selected candidates will be awarded with an award amount of $4,000.

Additional Requirements: Recipient is required to write a Thank You letter and attend the Graduate School Evening of Excellence .
