The University of Wollongong is offering HDR Scholarships - University Postgraduate Award (UPA) at UOW, 2024 to eligible higher degree research students.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be enrolled in a Higher Degree Research program at the university.
- The applicant may be admitted full-time or part-time.
- An International applicant must meet visa requirements specified by the Department of Home Affairs.
- The applicant must not be receiving an equivalent scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the award deemed to undertake the research program.
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit an online application at the time of admission.
Value of the Scholarship:
- The selected candidates are awarded an annual stipend mentioned in the offer letter.
- Part-time award holders are entitled to the approved part-time stipend rate, which is not exempt from taxation.
- Full-time award holders are entitled to the stipend rate (tax-free).
Note: The award holder must submit annual progress reports to continue availing the scholarship.
