Deakin University HDR Scholarship - Research Training Program Scholarship (RTP) / Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPR) is offered for Masters, PhD, Research Fellow/ Scientist degree in the field of Programs offered by the University. The RTP scholarships are funded by the Australian Government, while the DUPR scholarships are funded by Deakin University. Both awards are available to domestic and international students. Only top-ranked applicants will be offered an RTP.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must be enrolled in an HDR course of study at Deakin University, whether they are domestic or international, to be eligible for an RTP Stipend, RTP Fees Offset, RTP Allowance, or DUPRS.
- Applicants must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth intended to cover HDR fees to be eligible for an RTP Fee cover.
- Candidates must not be receiving any additional funding from other sources to cover their living expenses throughout their course of study, provided that additional funding does not exceed 75% of their RTP or DUPRS Stipend rate.
- Income unrelated to the student’s course of study or income received for the student’s course of study but not to support general living costs is not to be taken into account.
Value of the Scholarship:
- The successful applicants will receive:
- Tuition fees.
- A stipend of $34,400 per annum
- A relocation allowance from $500 to $1,500 (for single to family) is awarded to students who are moving from interstate or overseas to study at Deakin
- Single Overseas Student Health Cover policy for the duration of the student visa.
