    The A. James Clark Scholarship at Stevens Institute of Technology, this initiative was made possible through a generous investment from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, honoring the legacy of the late A. James Clark—renowned engineer, philanthropist, and founder of Clark Construction Group LLC, one of the nation's top privately-held construction firms based in Maryland.

    Eligibility requirements for The A. James Clark Scholarship:

    • The application is open to all nationals.
    • The scholarship an invitation-only scholarship program for exceptional students who are traditionally underrepresented in engineering fields and exhibit a passion for making a difference.
    • The scholarship is only available to incoming, full-time, first-year students.
    • The scholarship is for Undergraduate students pursuing Engineering.
    • Demonstration of financial need is required, so recipients must submit the FAFSA and the CSS Profile by the established deadlines each year.
    • The deadline for submission of FAFSA and CSS is february 1.

    Additional Information:

    The A. James Clark Scholarship is renewable for up to eight full-time undergraduate semesters, provided the scholar maintains full-time enrollment, satisfactory academic progress, and a minimum GPA of 2.8 while also fulfilling the academic and service requirements of the program. 

    Value of the Scholarship:

    An annual $5,000 stipend to support participation in undergraduate summer research under the guidance of a faculty member, or an eligible international experience, such as study abroad, service, or research abroad programs that take place in summer or winter sessions.
