The Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics Scholarship is an annual scholarship that the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics may provide. This scholarship is made possible by funding from the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics program.
- Applicants must have completed at least 48 units of the Master of Science (Advanced) in Astronomy and Astrophysics degree program.
- Applicants must have maintained a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 80%.
- Applicants must not be recipients of Commonwealth funding.
Application Process:
- Eligible candidates must complete and submit the scholarship application form.
- The application should include the following components:
- Most recent CV,
- Copy of all academic transcripts,
- Two referees must complete and submit the referee form
Value of the Scholarship:
The successful candidates are awarded a sum of up to AUD 20,000 (AUD 10,000 per semester) over a maximum of one year of full-time study.
