Dear Sir/ Madam, I would like to apply for a Postdoctoral health research at your institutions ;I firstly introduce myself and what I have done in the past. My name is Dr. Olivier Mwamba, I am 48 years old . I have completed a BSc (Lab. Med.) - Degree in Medicine, Paediatric, Surgery and Delivery (MBBCh), Diploma of Studies Superiors in Clinical Psychology and MTech in Biomedical Technology at School of Public Health in Water and Health Research Centre at University of Johannesburg this was based on a full research investigation, requiring me to do full time work on campus and in the field. The work was for this project entailed investigations into the toxicity of contaminated groundwater destined for human consumption and my PhD at the same University and Department. I have also had some work experience in the area of Research, Public Health, Malaria, Water, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Vaccination, Hospital and clinic manager, Sex and love, Epidemiology, Coordinating Doctor, Program Director ….ect It is my view that such an opportunity will provide me with the final tool that I need in order to cement my knowledge, experience, and skills in this field prior to entering into the working environment. The CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports qualified young scientists at leading universities and research centers around the world who wish to receive training in cancer immunology.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be working in areas directly related to immunology or cancer immunology.
Applicants must hold a PhD degree.
Applicants' sponsor must hold the rank of an assistant professor or higher.
Applicants with five or more years of active post-doctoral experience are not eligible.
Applicants can be of any nationality.

Application Process:

Eligible candidates must submit the application form along with the supporting documents.

Value of the Fellowship:

Selected candidates can avail of the following benefits:
- A stipend of USD 74,000 (Year 1), USD 76,000 (Year 2), and USD 78,000 (Year 3).
- An allowance of USD 5,000 towards research supplies travel to scientific meetings, health insurance, and/or childcare.
- Additional support to attend CRI’s annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference.
