- Applicants currently enrolled in Ph.D. or DPhil programs from across the country and around the world are invited to apply for the fellowship.
- Beinecke Library offers only a limited number of fellowships.
- These fellowships are highly competitive.
- Applicants who wish to conduct primary research for their doctoral or dissertations thesis should apply.
- Candidates who are keen on in-depth consultation of Beinecke materials will be considered.
Documents Required
- Candidates must submit a detailed copy of their curriculum vitae.
- Applicants must write a 1200 word research proposal and detail the relationship between their research and Beinecke Collections.
- Candidates are required to provide a detailed list of specific research materials.
- Applicants must submit two confidential recommendation letters to the Beinecke Director.
- One recommendation letter must be from the principal director of the candidates dissertation.
- Candidates must submit an approved dissertation prospectus/proposal.
