Mexican students have the opportunity to pursue a master's or doctorate in the US. The Commission will assist the scholarship recipients with the admission application process (payment and monitoring) in up to five universities, either through its resources or in collaboration with an organization that is under contract with the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).
Eligibility for Fulbright-García Robles Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies in the United States:

A letter from the university or the final transcript of marks attesting to the applicant's minimum GPA of 8 in their most recent degree from an approved institution is required.

Applicants must present their most recent, official TOEFL (ITP, IBT) or IELTS exam results (valid for two years). We mandate that you take the tests in person. For the TOEFL ITP, 80 for the TOEFL IBT, or 6.5 for the IELTS, a minimum score of 550 is needed. After the call for applications, the results have to be up to date.
Individuals who are dual Mexican-American citizens or residents of the United States are ineligible. -
Those who have previously received a master's or doctorate scholarship from Fulbright-García Robles are not eligible.
Value of the Scholarship:
The winner will obtain a full or partial tuition waiver and will support scholarship recipients with up to $25,000 annually.
