International Student Presidential Merit Scholarship Overview:

• The International Student Presidential Merit Scholarship offers a $5,000 award to first-time international applicants to City University (CityU) in Seattle.
• This scholarship is available to students who meet specific eligibility criteria and are selected on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the acceptance letter issuance date, until available funds have been exhausted.

Eligibility and Scholarship Conditions:

• Open to first-time international applicants who will be studying at CityU.
• Must hold an F-1 Visa in the Seattle area.
• Must be an active I-20 holder.
• The scholarship is to be used for tuition only and cannot be paid out as a cash refund if the award exceeds the tuition cost.
• Any remaining funds may roll over for up to two additional quarters before being rescinded.
• Full-time enrollment is required, and students must begin their studies at CityU within one quarter of the award letter issuance.
• For students who start in the English Language Program (ELP), the award will be applied once the student transitions into degree program classes, and the student must remain enrolled continuously, except for approved vacation quarters.
