Lewis University offers the Carey-Gillespie Endowed Scholarship to students enrolled in the university. This scholarship in honor of Coach Gordie Gillespie was established in 1994 with a generous gift from Neil P. Carey.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled in the university.
- Applicant must be a full-time student participating in intercollegiate athletics.
- The applicant would be judged financially needy by Lewis University’s Office of Financial Aid.
- Applicants must have an ACT score of 21 or above or a GPA of 2.75 or above.
- Applicants must maintain a GPA of 2.75 or above while attending Lewis.
Application Process:
The applicants must first complete the general application form after which they are automatically considered for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
Selected candidates are awarded a scholarship of USD 4,000.
