Taiwan Student Scholarship Endowment at San Francisco State University 2025

The Taiwan Student Scholarship Endowment supports international students at SF State with an interest in U.S.-Taiwan relations and Taiwanese culture, as well as SF State students studying or planning to study in Taiwan.

Eligibility criteria:

• Open to all nationals
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an undergraduate or graduate level at the university.
• Students will be required to provide a biography and a letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to their academic or professional experience.

Value: $1,000

Application requirements: 

• Submit a personal statement (200-500 words) related to your interest or experience.
• Provide the name and email of a reference who knows you well and can speak to your achievements. Faculty, colleagues, or mentors are preferred. Inform them about the scholarship and ensure they upload their reference letter by the deadline.
• If your reference cannot upload their letter directly to the Award Management/Academic Works system by the deadline, your application will not be evaluated.
