Essex Global Talent Scholarship 2025-26

• The Essex Global Talent Scholarship is designed for international undergraduate and master’s students seeking to study at the University of Essex in 2025-26.
• It offers a 50% discount on your first-year tuition fees, paid directly as a discount on registration.

Scholarship Breakdown:

• Amount: 50% of first-year tuition fees.
• Awards: 30 scholarships in total, equally split between undergraduate and postgraduate taught (master’s) students.

Eligibility:

• Open to students from all countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Overseas fee-paying students who are self-funded.
• Starting the first year of a full-time Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Master’s program at the University of Essex in 2025-26.
• Applicants must meet the standard conditional offer.
• UCAS applicants must make Essex their firm choice by 31 May 2025.
• Direct applicants must accept their offer by the same date.
• Cannot be held in conjunction with other University of Essex scholarships (except in cases where a link agreement is in place, and the scholarship with the higher value will be awarded).

Ineligible Students:

• MBA students.
• Students from the University of Essex International College (UEIC) Pathway program.
• Students enrolled in wholly online degree programs.
• Students who defer entry to subsequent academic years.
• Students assessed as paying home tuition fees.
• Students fully or partly sponsored by their government or other external agencies (excluding VISA sponsorship).
• Current Essex students progressing from undergraduate to postgraduate study.

How to Apply:

• Complete the application form available on the University of Essex website.
• Submit the form by 11:59pm on 31 May 2025 (UK time).Late applications will not be considered.

Notification:

• Successful applicants will be notified by end of July 2025.
  Payment Arrangements:
• 50% tuition fee reduction will be applied directly to the first-year tuition fee payable on registration.
• Cannot be used to offset a tuition fee deposit (if required).
• If you intermit (take a break from studies), you may be entitled to a pro-rata payment of the scholarship upon return, at the University's discretion.
