Key Features of the Vice Chancellor’s Future Leaders Award:

• Award Amount: £7,500 fee waiver for international students.
• Eligible Countries: Students from the following countries are eligible:Algeria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

Program Eligibility for Vice Chancellor’s Future Leaders Award: 

The scholarship applies to

• Full-time Bachelor's degree programs (FHEQ Level 4 – first-year entry) or Master’s degree programs, taught on-campus in Guildford, starting in September 2025.
• Financial Status: Applicants must be self-funded, meaning they are paying for their studies independently and not sponsored or receiving another scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

• International Students: Must be domiciled in one of the specified eligible countries.
• Offer from Surrey: You must have a confirmed offer from the University of Surrey to study a full-time degree program starting in September 2025 (Bachelor's or Master’s).
• Self-Funded Status: You need to be self-funding your studies, meaning you are not being sponsored or receiving another scholarship.
• Future Leaders Scholarship Exclusion: If you have the Future Leaders scholarship, you cannot apply for this scholarship.

Application Process for Vice Chancellor’s Future Leaders Award:

• Eligibility Check: You need to first have an offer to study at the University of Surrey for a full-time program starting in September 2025.
• Online Application: Once you have your offer, you can apply via the online form provided by the University.
• Review Period: Applications will be reviewed monthly between April and July 2025.
• Application Deadline: The final date for submitting applications is 31 July 2025.
• Student ID Requirement: You must provide your valid student ID and offer from the University in your application.
• Applications without this information will not be considered.
