The purpose of the Norman Thom Award at University of Auckland 2025 is to provide assistance to a suitable masters student undertaking research in the School of Environment.
Eligibility Criteria for the Norman Thom Award at the University of Auckland 2025:
- Applicants may be of nationality.
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a masters thesis in the School of Environment. Students enrolled in a 180-point or 240-point research masters must be enrolled in the thesis

- Academic achievement
- Quality and nature of the applicant’s research proposal.
Value of the Norman Thom Award at the University of Auckland 2025:
One Award will be made annually for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of $2,000
