The main purpose of the Spring Prize for String Players is to assist promising string players to further their performance studies at the University of Auckland.
Eligibility Criteria for Spring Prize for String Players at University of Auckland 2025:
- Applicants must be full-time string students.
- Applicants must have achieved the highest mark in MUS 221 Performance Skills 2.
- Applicants must be progressing to Stage Three courses in the Classical Performance major of the Bachelor of Music at the School of Music.
- Applicants must have achieved at least an A- grade as a minimum standard.
Value of Spring Prize for String Players at University of Auckland 2025:
The annual value of the Prize will be $1,200.
Application Process:
No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
