The City Law School Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence 2025

The City Law School is firmly committed to a generous program of scholarships awarded based on academic excellence. The Dean's Scholarship - a full-fee scholarship - is offered to the most outstanding candidates across all postgraduate and professional programs in The City Law School.

Eligibility for the City Law School Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence:

• Students must hold an upper second or first-degree (or international equivalent)
• Students must hold an offer of a place on one of the courses specified below at The City Law School. The offer can be conditional or unconditional and you do not need to have accepted your place to apply for a scholarship
• Students can be of any fee-paying status (Home, EU, or international) and be studying full-time or part-time.

Eligible Courses:

• Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) Full-time
• Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) Part-time
• Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)
• Graduate Entry LLB (GE LLB)
• LLM (Master of Laws)
• Solicitors’ Practice Programme

Application Process:

Students should submit one application that will be considered for both the City Law School Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence and the City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

Value of the Scholarship:

The students will receive a full-fee scholarship.

Note:

Suppose a student has been awarded a City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence earlier in the year. In that case, they will be considered for an upgrade to the City Law School Dean’s Scholarship for Academic Excellence in June (for BVS & SPP students) or during the second round (for GDL and Master of Laws students).
