State Minority Scholarship for Pursuing Higher Professional Education Scholarship (Part I) 2024/25 is offered for Bachelors, Masters, Diploma, MBA, Medicine (MBBS/ MD) degree in the field of All Subjects. The Minority Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra launched the State Minority Scholarship for Pursuing Higher Professional Education Scholarship (Part I) 2024/25 to offer financial assistance to students from minority communities pursuing professional or technical degree/diploma courses. The chosen students will get real tuition and exam costs, or up to INR 50,000 annually (whichever is less).
Eligibility Criteria for State Minority Scholarship for Pursuing Higher Professional Education Scholarship (Part I) 2024/25:
- Students need to be an Indian citizen.
- Students need to be domiciled in Maharashtra.
- Students should belong to minority communities including Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain, and Jewish.
- Students must have passed SSC from Maharashtra.
- Students should have taken admission in professional or technical diploma/degree courses.
- Students must hold a bona fide certificate from the respective institution.
- Students should have got admission through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)/Institute Level.
- Students need to have an annual family income of up to INR 8,00,000.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.
Documents:
- Domicile certificate
- Income certificate
- Marksheet of the previous examination
- Residence proof such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Electricity bill, etc.
- Educational certificate - SSC (Class 10) and onwards
- Income and Minority declaration - Affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper or Income certificate from the employer
Benefits:
- For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.25,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees whichever is less.
- For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.50,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees and Exam Fee whichever is less effective from AY 2022-23.
Note:
School leaving certificate can also be considered as Proof of Minority or Self Declaration.
