In honour of her husband, Joseph, Helen Blatecky founded the Joseph and Helen Blatecky Memorial Scholarship in her will. Mr. Blatecky attended the University of Wisconsin from 1929 to 1933 and graduated with three degrees, including a law degree. Students who have shown a high degree of academic achievement but need financial assistance are supported by the Blatecky Scholarship.
