Matthew Dungan Memorial Scholarship:
The family and friends of Matthew Dungan, in conjunction with St. Bonaventure University, established The Matthew Dungan Memorial Scholarship in May of 2011. The annual scholarship honors Matt, who played rugby for a year before passing away unexpectedly in January of his sophomore year. This scholarship provides financial assistance for deserving Western New York rugby players who would like to share in something about which Matt was so passionate: attending and playing rugby at St. Bonaventure University and being part of a valued family and tradition.
Eligibility:
- Recipients must maintain good standing with both the university and the community, as well as uphold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to remain eligible for continued scholarship funding.
