China Scholarship Council Doctoral Awards in Germany 2024 is provided jointly by Freie University Berlin and the China Scholarship Programme to students who have enrolled in a PhD program at the University.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be identified as Chinese nationals.
- Doctoral candidates who completed their Master's degree in Germany or abroad are eligible.
- Applicants must submit the following language proficiency certificates:
- English: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 95
- German: TestDaF 16 (at least) or DSH-2 certificate
Application Process:
- Interested candidates must submit a form for the doctoral position.
- Candidates are required to fill in the online portal and submit the following documents:
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of Motivation
- Abstract of the Master Thesis in English
- University Degree certificates
- Scientific Statement related to the offered research project.
- One or two letters of recommendation.
