Alumni Postgraduate Research Scholarship at University of Kent 2024

The University of Kent in the United Kingdom (UK) is offering an Alumni Postgraduate Research Scholarship for incoming postgraduate research students who have a degree from the University of Kent. The University is providing fully-funded awards for qualified students enrolled in the Ph.D. program.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicant may be a resident of any nation.
• The applicant may hold a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from the University of Kent.
• The applicant must have an unconditional offer for a full-time or part-time PhD research degree at the university for the academic year 2024/25.
• The applicant must demonstrate that they have contributed to the wider University community.
• The applicant must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• The applicant must stand in superior academic stead.

Application Process:

• Eligible applicants will be able to apply through their KentVision portal.
• The applicants must submit the following documents:
  • Most recent CV,
  • A supporting statement of no more than two A4 pages.
  • An academic reference in support of the project.
• Selected candidates must act as 'ambassadors' for both the University and their subjects. 

Value of the Scholarship:

•  The selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
  • Tuition fees at the home rate of GBP 4,786 for 2024/25. 
  • Maintenance grant at the same rate as the UK Research Councils of GBP 19,237 for 2024/25.
