Established by Auckland Law School, the prizes are intended to encourage and provide support to academically exceptional students pursuing master's degrees in taxation studies, legal studies, or law.
Eligibility for Postgraduate Awards at the University of Auckland:
- Postgraduate awards at the University of Auckland are open to all nationalities.
- All the program-specific requirements must be met.
- Eligible Programs: Master of Laws, Master of Legal Studies, Master of Taxation Studies
Value of Postgraduate Awards at the University of Auckland:
- A significant portion of the awardees' expenses are supposed to be covered by the rewards. Five qualifying domestic and/or foreign candidates will receive a $10,000 Auckland Law School Postgraduate Award.
Deadline for Postgraduate awards at the University of Auckland:
- 30 January and 30 June of every academic year.
Application Process:
To apply for the scholarship, the candidates have to send an e-mail to the Executive Assistant to the Dean (lawdean@auckland.ac.nz).
Required Documents:
- Copies of your official university transcripts including the grades of all courses completed. (Successful applicants will be required to provide paper copies of their transcripts before awards are confirmed.)
- A current CV, including the names and contact details of two academic referees.
- A cover letter.
