The Version 1 Computing Scholarship 25/26
The University is proud to work in partnership with Version 1 to facilitate three Postgraduate scholarships in either MSc Computer Science or MSc Advanced Computer Science to commence in September 2025.
Eligibility criteria -
- The applicant must be a UK/Home applicant with 'Home' fee status - This includes students domiciled in Jersey, Guernsey, the Channel Islands, Ireland, and the Isle of Man
- Apply to study on an eligible Computing course (*listed below) commencing in September 2025 at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus and meet the terms and conditions and accept your offer
- Be a self-funded student and not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer employer-funded

Application process -
- There is a competitive selection process for this scholarship scheme, and applicants need to apply via an online written application; a selection panel will consider all eligible applications. In no more than 3000 characters, describe the personal attributes that you will bring to the Digital sector and explain how you will utilise and embed these attributes as a future employee.
