International Maverick Scholarship at Minnesota State University 2024-25

Minnesota State Mankato values the cultural contribution of international students to our campus and communities. All new undergraduate students are automatically awarded the International Maverick Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria Minnesota State University International Maverick Scholarships :

• Applicants must identify as international applicants.
• Applicants must enroll in an undergraduate course at the university.
• Applicants must maintain valid F-1 or J-1 immigration status.
• Applicant must achieve a term GPA of 2.5 or a cumulative Minnesota State Mankato GPA of 3.0.
• Applicants must successfully earn/complete a minimum of 12 credits each semester (completed credits are grades A-D and P. F, W, I, IP and NC do not count).
• Applicants must complete 30 hours of voluntary service each academic year.
• Applicants are due to submit the total number of volunteer hours completed.

Application Process:

The students are not required to submit separate applications for the IMS award.

Note: Students who do not meet the scholarship requirements at the end of the spring 2025 semester will lose their scholarships for the summer 2025 and the 2025-2026 academic year.
