UTS Science High Achiever’s Scholarship 2024

To encourage outstanding achievers to pursue certain undergraduate science degrees at UTS.

Eligibility for the UTS Science High Achiever’s Scholarship:

• The applicant must be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand or have a permanent humanitarian or resident visa for Australia.
• The candidate must be a current school leaver or gap year student who received an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or equivalent score in the previous year, where no university study was undertaken in the gap year.
• Applicants must have a Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) preference for one of the courses at UTS in the Faculty of Science listed in clause 5.2 for the Autumn session directly following the scholarship selection.
• Academic excellence in the final year of high school (ATAR of 95 or above, excluding bonus points).

Application Process:

These scholarships are awarded automatically following the release of ATAR results in January, although you must be enrolling as a local student and have a University of Technology Sydney course preference on your UAC application to be eligible.
