To encourage outstanding achievers to pursue certain undergraduate science degrees at UTS.
Eligibility for the UTS Science High Achiever’s Scholarship:
- The applicant must be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or have a permanent humanitarian or resident visa for Australia.
- The candidate must be a current school dropout or a gap year student who did not enroll in university during their gap year and who obtained an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or comparable score the year before.
- In the fall semester that follows the scholarship selection, the applicant should have a University Admissions Center (UAC) preference for one of the UTS Faculty of Science courses specified.
- One should have demonstrated academic distinction in the last year of high school (ATAR of 95 or above, discounting bonus points).
