Description:
This everlasting scholarship was made possible by a contribution to the 2010 Annual Appeal from Mr. Mitchel Martin-Weber, an alumnus of the University of Tasmania, in honor of his close friend Adrian La Palombara. The University matched the scholarship award with a donation through its Foundation.
Eligibility for Adrian La Palombara Annual Appeal Honours Scholarship:
- This scholarship is open to female students only.
- Open to students starting their honors program in mathematics or physics in Semester 1 of 2025.
- Though other fields will be taken into consideration, studies in the field of optical astronomy will be given precedence when the scholarship is provided to a physics student.
- Every semester, the student must receive at least a passing grade in every unit they study.
Application Process:
