Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra 2024/25

The School Education and Sports Department of the Government of Maharashtra launched the Open Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra 2024/25 initiative to offer financial aid to EBC students enrolled in Class 11 or 12. The primary aim of the scholarship program is to facilitate students' pursuit of higher education. For ten months, the chosen students will receive a stipend worth up to INR 160 per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Merit Scholarships for EBC Students, Maharashtra 2024/25:

• Students need to be domiciled in Maharashtra.
• Students should belong to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) Category.
• Students must be studying in Class 11 or 12.
• Students should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the SSC examination in the first attempt.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.

Documents:

• The income certificate approved by Tahasildar
• SSC mark sheet
• Previous year mark sheet (For renewal)

Benefits:

•  The hosteler boys will receive a scholarship amount of INR 140 per month for 10 months which sums up to INR 1400.
•  The non-hosteler boys will receive INR 80 per month for 10 months which sums up to INR 800.
•  The hosteler girls will receive INR 160 per month for 10 months which sums up to INR 1600.
•  The non-hosteler girls will receive INR 100 per month for 10 months which sums up to INR 1000.
