Description:
This award is offered to graduate research students at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.
Eligibility for the Lochrie Engineering Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Australian citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Candidates should be enrolled in a higher degree by research in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, with preference to be given to.
Selection criteria:
- Academic merit: Assessed via the personal statement and supporting documents (CV, most recent progress report, peer-reviewed publications, supervisor’s statement) to evaluate the strength of the applicant’s research.
- Financial need: This will be assessed via the personal statement and submission of the FEIT Student Financial Assessment form.
Value of the Scholarship:
Funding of approximately $10,000 per year will be provided for the length of the degree, for up to three years.
