The scholarship was established in 1962 by a legacy from Mrs Hilda Maria Reber, who died in 1958.
Eligibility Criteria for Karl and Frieda Reber Memorial Scholarship:
- Students should have completed all the program requirements for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of International Studies.
- Students should receive the highest marks in level 3 German courses in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of International Studies in their year.
- Students should intend to complete honors in German in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or the Bachelor of International Studies (Honours) as a full-time student the next year.
