The Estonian School of Diplomacy (ESD), jointly with the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offers scholarships for young diplomats and civil servants to participate in its 8-month certificate program on International Relations and Diplomacy.
Eligibility Criteria for Estonian School of Diplomacy Scholarships 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be from a country eligible for Overseas Development Assistance (ODA), specifically:
- Uganda
- Ukraine
- Kenya
- Georgia (only civil society and NGO representatives)
- Armenia
- Botswana
- Moldova
- Namibia
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree.
- Have an advanced command of English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Be currently employed and have worked for at least one year in the foreign or civil service of their country/territory (exception: Georgia).
- Be highly motivated to learn about international relations and related disciplines.
- Priority is given to candidates intending to continue professional careers in civil or diplomatic service in their country/territory.
- Be hard-working, cooperative, and ready to thrive in an intercultural study environment.
