CARN Congo Basin Aspire Grant 2024

The Aspire Grant Program by Conservation Action Research Network (CARN) provides competitive research grants for African graduate students and early career professionals working in the areas of biodiversity, conservation, and environmental sustainability in the Congo Basin region.

Eligibility criteria for CARN Congo Basin Aspire Grant, 2024:

• The candidate applying should be a resident of one of the countries like Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, and Uganda.
• The age limit for the candidate is 35 years or younger.
• The candidate should have been enrolled in a graduate program or hold a professional position.
• Previous recipients of the CARN grant are eligible.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates must submit an online application form.
• The application must include the following documents in the order given:
  • Cover Page
  • Project Proposal
  • Budget required (max. USD 5,000)
  • CV
  • Two letters of recommendation on official letterhead and signed 

Value of CARN Congo Basin Aspire Grant, 2024:

• The successful applicants of CARN Congo Basin Aspire Grant, 2024 will receive a research grant of USD 5,000 in the areas of biodiversity, conservation, and environmental sustainability in the Congo Basin region.
