UTS Chancellor's Postdoctoral Research Fellowships 2024

Eligibility:

• Applicants must hold a research doctoral degree equivalent to an Australian Ph.D. degree on or after the census date.
• Candidates whose research doctoral degree thesis is under examination or who are waiting to receive the degree are eligible to apply.
• Applicants are required to refer the UTS supervisor in developing an Expression of Interest.
• Candidates who have the acknowledgment of one UTS Supervisor are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must provide a letter from the issuing university as proof of their status.
• By all means, applicants must meet all the requirements put forth by the University.

Selection Criteria:

• Applicants are assessed intensively on their academic merit and skills.
• The candidate's research proposal is evaluated based on its ingenuity and significance.
• The applicant's potential to contribute to relevant teaching and learning areas is assessed.
• If he/she is a suitable candidate for UTS with regards to areas of strategic research importance.
• The proposed supervisor's track record is gauged.

Value: 

• Academic starting salary from Level B, Step 2 ($119,475 as of 1 May 2024) plus 17 percent employer-provided superannuation contribution
