Women in Engineering and IT Cooperative Scholarship 2024

The University and supporting organizations collaborate on a cooperative education initiative called the Women in Engineering and IT Cooperative Scholarship. The program's objective is to draw in, keep, and advance female engineers and information technology (IT) professionals. High-achieving female students who are passionate about pursuing a career in engineering or information technology will be identified for the award. In addition to three (3) industry placements, the scholarship will offer chances for professional growth, networking, leadership, and mentorship.

Eligibility for Women in Engineering and IT Cooperative Scholarship:

• The candidate must be a female.
• The applicant should be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa.
• In the session right before the award is given, the candidate must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice.
• The applicant must have recently left school and have a minimum ATAR of 85 or above (adjustment points not included).

Application and Selection Process:

• Candidates must complete an online application.
• An interview will be extended invitations to those who have been selected.
• Notification of successful candidates will follow the ATAR results' publication.

Value of the Scholarship:

The students will receive AUD 66,000 + 3 industry placements.
