UNIDROIT Sir Roy Goode Scholarship 2025

Description:

• A limited number of exceptionally talented post-graduate law students, attorneys, professors, and government officials are awarded scholarships by UNIDROIT each year so they can conduct research in the UNIDROIT library. Nearly 400 researchers from 65 countries have been hosted by the Research Scholarship Program during the past 25 years.
• Scholarship candidates must apply during the annual application window (usually between July – September each year).
• All scholarships must be undertaken in person at the UNIDROIT Headquarters in Rome, Italy.
• During their research period at UNIDROIT, Scholars may be invited to deliver a short workshop on their topic. Following their research period, scholars are encouraged to consider submitting a paper to the Uniform Law Review for publication.

Value of the Scholarship: 

A monthly stipend of €1,500 will be given to the selected applicant for a period of six to nine months.
