Turkish Government Scholarship, 2025

Turkey offers scholarships to international students from all over the world to study in the most prestigious universities in Turkey. Turkiye Scholarships is a government-funded, competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding students and researchers to pursue full-time or short-term programs at the top universities in Turkey. Turkiye Scholarships aims to build a network of future leaders committed to strengthening cooperation among countries and mutual understanding among societies.

Eligible criteria for the Turkish Government Scholarship, 2025:

This opportunity is open to all international applicants.
Applications will be open to candidates who wish to study at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Minimum Academic Criteria:

• Minimum academic achievement for Bachelor’s degree applicants: 70%
• Minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctorate applicants: 75%
• Minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy) applicants: 90%

Age Criteria:

• To be under the age of 21 for Undergraduate programs 
• To be under the age of 30 for Master’s programs
• To be under the age of 35 for Doctorate programs
• To be under the age of 50 for Research Scholarship

 Eligible Groups:

• Citizens of all countries
• Graduates or applicants who can graduate at the end of the current academic year
• Researchers and academicians

Application Process:

• Applicants should create a personal account on the Turkiye Scholarships Application System.
• Candidates should upload all the required documents.
• Candidates should choose the desired university and the programs.
• Applicants should draft a letter of intent describing his/her preferences and future aspirations.

Benefits of the Turkish Government Scholarship, 2025:

Turkish Government provides financial support, tuition fees, accommodation, and health insurance but also university placement and academic, social, and cultural facilities to its awardees at all levels of higher education.

The scholarship offers a stipend of 3.500 TL at the undergraduate level, 5.000 TL at the Master's level, and 6.500 TL at PhD level per month.
