The Department of Geography is happy to announce the availability of one scholarship for a postgraduate teaching student from Africa in 2024, thanks to a relationship with the University of Sheffield Africa Scholarship Trust.
Eligibility for The University of Sheffield Africa Scholarship:
- For tuition fee purposes, the candidate must be considered to be an international student.
- To be eligible for this prize, the applicant must be self-funded, meaning they cannot be supported by a research council, the government, a business, a charity, or any other group of a like kind.
- The candidate cannot already possess a degree that is higher than or equal to a master's.
- The applicant shouldn't have attended school internationally.
- This scholarship is not to be used in combination with any other University of Sheffield or outside financing grant.
- The candidate must be able to attend classes full-time.
- Acceptance of the scholarship is dependent upon fulfilling any requirement(s) outlined in the offer by the Admissions Service's deadline.
- Before September 2, 2024, the candidate must get an unconditional offer from the university to study.
- The applicant must be an African national or have a permanent address there.
