The role of keratin networks in maintaining epithelial tissue integrity at University of Sheffield 2025

Eligibility

• The Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (YBDTP) scholarship is open to both international (including EU) and UK students.
• Applicants should have, or expect to have, at least an upper second-class honours degree, or its equivalent. Ideal candidates will have a background in biological, chemical, physical sciences, or mathematics and an interest in applying these skills to biological research.
• International applicants should verify they meet entry requirements for their country.

Application Process

• To apply for the YBDTP, candidates must complete an Expression of Interest form by the deadline of 5pm on Friday, 14th March 2025.
• Applicants can apply for up to three projects across different universities.
• It's advised to review the questions in advance and ensure all necessary details are included before submission.

• The scholarship offers a fully funded studentship for four years, covering tuition fees, research costs, and a tax-free annual stipend at the standard UKRI rate (£19,237 for 2024/25 entry).
