Science and Engineering International Postgraduate Research Excellence Scholarships at Swansea University 2025

The Swansea University International Postgraduate Research Excellence Scholarship (SUIPRES) is a competitively awarded scholarship scheme open to overseas PhD and Professional Doctorate applicants who are eligible for the international rate of tuition fees and can demonstrate excellence in academic achievement.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must be international students eligible for the international tuition fee rate at Swansea University.
• Applicants should have a 1st class or 2:1 UK undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and/or a distinction in a UK master's degree (or equivalent).
• Applicants fully sponsored by a third party are not eligible for the SUIPRES scholarship.

Application process:

• Apply for an eligible PhD or Professional Doctorate program.
• Indicate interest in the application form to be considered for a SUIPRES scholarship.
• To demonstrate excellence, outline your academic track record, as well as other activities that may be relevant (prizes awarded, outreach activities, teaching experience, etc.) in your supporting statement.
