- To be eligible for the prize, a student must have achieved a minimum grade of A- in the course.

- The prize will be awarded to the student with the highest overall mark in the course.
- The overall mark will be determined by combining:
- The exam mark (which will be weighted alongside)
- 30% from the opinion or moot.
