    International Achievement Award Transfer students are offered by Southeast Missouri State University for international students. Scholarship recipients must maintain full-time enrollment each semester and be able to demonstrate lawful presence in the US. Incoming students who have earned less than 24 credit hours of college credit are only eligible for freshmen awards, while those who have earned 24 or more credit hours are only eligible for transfer awards.

    Eligibility for the International Achievement Award Transfer students:

    • Students are ineligible if awarded a scholarship intended to cover tuition & fees from any outside or institutional sources.
    • Students are ineligible for all international scholarships if they become Missouri Residents for fee-paying purposes or receive the Nonresident Alumni Award.
    • Undergraduate/graduate awards apply only to a first bachelor's/master's degree.
    • Applicants need to have a 3.0+ GPA.
    • Applicants must obtain 24+ transferable credit hours from an accredited college or university (two- or four-year).

    Note:

    • This scholarship compensates for the disparity between the tuition fees for nonresident students and those for in-state students. Rather than being billed at the in-state rate, students are awarded a financial aid credit to balance out the cost of nonresident tuition.
    • The actual value varies based on enrollment; the estimate shown is based on 15 hours per semester (fall/spring).
    • The value varies based on actual enrollment and will be reduced to less than 15 hours per semester.
