Research Prize, The Lister Institute Of Preventive Medicine, 2024

The Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine is offering research prizes for young researchers in biomedical fields.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The applicants for the Research Prize, Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine, 2024 should be employed in an eligible UK or Irish institution.
• The candidates should have funding guaranteed for the first three years for the Lister Award.
• The applicants should have postdoctoral experience for three to ten years.
• The candidate's experience will be taken into account from the date the Ph.D. or MD is awarded or earlier if he/she has both degrees.
• The applicant's time-out from the research for maternity leave, clinical training, or personal circumstances will be considered.

Application Process:

• The candidate must submit the application form to avail of the award.

Notes:

• The recipients of the Research Prize, Lister Institute of Preventive Medicine, 2024 get GBP 300,000 to support their research for 5 years.
• The 2025 round will open in July 2024. The deadline for submission will be announced then, it is typically the end of September.
