In recognition of Dr. Goh Keng Swee, the former deputy prime minister of Singapore, who contributed to the country's economic progress and rose to prominence as a global financial hub, the financial community in Singapore founded the GKS Scholarship. The GKS Scholarships are given to deserving students from the Asia-Pacific area so they can attend local colleges in Singapore and pursue undergraduate degrees in recognized fields.
Eligibility for Dr Goh Keng Swee (GKS) Scholarship at NUS Business School:
- Students must be from the following countries: Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Taiwan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, PRC, and Taiwan.
- Students must simultaneously submit applications for admission to study at institutions in Singapore.
- Candidates must exhibit leadership abilities and have a strong record of extracurricular activities.
- Applicants need to schedule private testing sessions for admissions exams like the GMAT, TOEFL, or GRE.
- Candidates should be younger than 25 years old.
