Description:
In honor of Colin Aikman, the Award was created to give students access to opportunities in constitutional law, human rights, international law, and other legal matters that have an impact on the South Pacific. In honor of the United Nations' 60th anniversary of its founding, the Award was introduced in November 2005. The fund was established with a generous $10,000 donation from the Law Faculty.
Eligibility for the Colin Aikman Award:
Applicants should intend to study law at the Undergraduate, Master's, or PhD Degree level at Victoria University of Wellington, with a focus on constitutional law, human rights, international law, or other legal issues affecting the South Pacific.
Documentation:
A brief (one-page) outline of their research topic or intended course of study.
