The Care Leaver Bursary offers undergraduate and graduate-taught students who are coming straight from local government care £1,500 annually. The university's dedication to accessibility and expanding participation in higher education is reflected in the offering of this award.
Eligibility for Care Leaver Bursary at Greenwich University:
- The applicant must be a UK national aged under 25.
- The applicant must have been under the care of the local authority for a minimum of 52 consecutive weeks immediately preceding the commencement of the course at the University of Greenwich.
- The applicant may be a full-time or part-time undergraduate or postgraduate student at any of the three campuses or Partner Colleges, where the tuition fees are paid directly to the University of Greenwich.
- The candidate needs to meet the criteria for the highest amount of government assistance based on income, additional support grants, or the government's Master's loan program.

Value of the scholarship:
The scholarship is worth up to £1,500 a year for up to three or four years. In the last year, students get an additional £200 to help with graduation-related expenses.
