Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program 2023

Eligibility for Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program, 2022-23:

• Applicants of Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program, 2022 must be from Canada.
• Canadian students (undergraduate and graduate levels), Canadian faculty members or research staff at a post-secondary institution can apply.
• Canadian mid-career professionals with a Master’s or Ph.D. degree and possess policy development, managerial, or decision-making responsibilities can apply for the Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program, 2022.
• The applicants must be able to achieve the required level of written and spoken Chinese by the host institution in China.
• Candidates applying for Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program, 2022 must be enrolled in a Chinese institution and not be seeking a degree in China.
• If the applicant is an employee of the Government of Canada, he/she is not eligible for the travel benefit funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Development (DFATD).

Value of Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program, 2022-23:

• The successful applicants of Canada-China Scholars' exchange program will receive:
• Tuition fees and other allowances.
• On-campus accommodations.
• Monthly stipend of:
• 2,500 Yuan for undergraduate and language students;
• 3,000 Yuan for Master’s degree students; and
• 3,500 Yuan for PhD students and senior scholars.
• Medical Insurance.
