Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCESS – VR) (Formerly VESID)

Eligibility

• The Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCESS – VR) program is available to individuals with disabilities who:
• Need assistance to achieve independence and employment.
• Are seeking vocational training, education, or services to help them transition to the workforce.
• Meet eligibility criteria set by the New York State Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services (ACCES).

Application Process

To apply for ACCESS – VR:

• Contact the ACCES-VR office in your area.
• Complete an intake and eligibility assessment with a vocational rehabilitation counselor.
• Provide necessary documentation regarding your disability and career goals.
• Once approved, a personalized plan will be developed to assist you with education, job placement, or other needed services.
