The UWA Humanitarian SWANS Scholarship is offered by the University of Western Australia to support and encourage students from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to pursue undergraduate degrees at the university.
Eligibility
- student should hold, or have applied for and be eligible to hold a -
(i) Temporary Protection or
(ii) Safe Haven Enterprise Visa - student experiencing financial hardship
- student should be a school leaver applicant to the University
- student should be enrolled, or eligible to enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree course
Application process
- Application are solicited for by Coursework Scholarships and must be submitted by the specified closing date
- Candidates must enclose proof of their temporary protection visa with their application.
