The Fulbright Graduate Study Program competition for the 2024–2025 academic year is hereby announced by the US Embassy in Serbia. Young professionals from Serbia can study for a year or longer at U.S. colleges to pursue master's degrees in the following subjects thanks to the Fulbright Graduate Study Program: Agriculture, American History, American Literature, American Studies, Anthropology, Archaeology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Economics, Education, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Geology, Information Sciences, Journalism / Media Studies, Law, Library Science, Linguistics, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, TEFL/Applied Linguistics.
Eligibility for US Embassy Serbia Fulbright Graduate Study Program:
- Candidates have to be Republic of Serbian nationals. Those holding dual citizenship (Serbian and American) and permanent residents of the United States are not eligible.
- Applicants must be fluent in both written and spoken English. During the selection process, the GRE and TOEFL will be administered to the chosen applicants.
- Candidates must be qualified for a J-1 visa, which has a two-year minimum residency requirement that must be met upon the grantee's return to the Republic of Serbia after the grant period.
- A completed undergraduate degree is a requirement for applicants at the time of application.
- Nominees for a Fulbright award are those who are currently enrolled in courses in the United States.
- The applicants' medical clearance must be satisfactory.
- Those who want to live in the US permanently are not eligible.
