The Prize was established in 2007. The main purpose of the Prize is to reward excellence in the Master of Urban Design degree program.
Eligibility for the Urbanism+ Award for Excellence in Urban Design:
- Students must deliver outstanding work in the Master of Urban Design Programme. The winning project will be selected by a panel comprised of at least one representative from the School of Architecture and Planning and one representative from Urbanism+.
- The Prize will be awarded by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of the Head of the School of Architecture and Planning.
