Understanding and Meeting the Support Needs of Unpaid Carers of Acquired Brain Injury Survivors

Eligibility:

• The scholarship is available for UK students who are interested in pursuing a PhD in the Department of Sociological Studies, with a focus on understanding the support needs of carers for acquired brain injury (ABI) survivors.
• Applicants from various disciplines such as psychology, nursing, social care, occupational therapy, public health, rehabilitation sciences, health policy, or sociology are encouraged to apply.
• A strong interest in applied research to improve outcomes for carers and their dependents is essential.

• The studentship is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) School for Social Care Research (SSCR).
• It covers home tuition fees and provides a stipend at the standard research council rate for 3.5 years.
